Jeric Wilhelmsen is a video producer, camera operator, editor, and licensed drone pilot with over two decades of experience in visual media. A U.S. Army veteran, Jeric has carried the discipline and adaptability of military service into a dynamic career in video production. After studying New Media at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, he moved to Los Angeles where he started his career at NBC/Telemundo as a news camera operator. Since then he’s worked in television production, commercial casting, and video journalism—most notably as Director of Media for the Race Across America and as a visual media specialist for The American Legion.
As a veteran Jeric served as the commander and on the executive committee of The Hollywood American Legion. He’s also the creator of the Veteran-Made Film Competition which has provided opportunities to hundreds of veterans.
Jeric is the founder and principal of Generic Jeric LLC, a Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business dedicated to creating impactful video content for clients across industries. Based in San Francisco, he brings creativity, technical precision, and storytelling expertise to every project he takes on.
