Legacy Videos

Tell your story in a way that’s designed for today’s world and beyond.

The stories that define who we are.

Tell the stories that define a life — and preserve them for generations.

Every person carries a story that shaped who they are — stories of family, resilience, love, and experience. Legacy videos are a way to capture these memories in a timeless, shareable format — blending personal interviews, archival materials, and meaningful locations. It’s not just about remembering; it’s about passing something forward. These films become living heirlooms — crafted for children, grandchildren, and future generations to know, feel, and learn from.

Basic on camera interview

With on camera interviews, we’re able to sit down in a comfortable space and chat about your life. I’ll present you with thoughtful questions that help guide the conversation to not only cover the major milestones, but dive deep into cherished memories. I’ll give the interview a light edit to take out long pauses and other distractions then provide you with a finished digital video that you can share online with your family and friends.

FAQ

Yes, I’ve interviewed 10s of thousands of people and I’ve found it’s all about asking the right questions. And then following up with genuine curiosity.

The duration of the interview depends on your package. Usually when I arrive on location we’ll spend 10 minutes looking around for the best spot to set up. Then I’ll take another 20 minutes to set up the camera, lights, and microphones. I usually like to break interviews up into 1 hour sessions. with a 10 minute break between sessions. Once we are complete, it will take me 20 minutes to break down and put away my equipment.

It depends on the package. For a good video, we’ll need at least 5 photos per 1 minute of edited video.

We can talk on the phone to determine exactly what package or combination thereof is best for you.
